Tune: How Great Thou Art, Public domain;
Lyrics: J. Chin © Copyright 2025
O Lord our God, when we begin to wonder
at all of life – this world that you have made.
We see the stars and hear the lightening thunder –
It’s all your power and glory on display.
So, lift your voice and sing with thanks and praise,
“Lord, you are great. Lord, you’re so good.”
So, lift your voice and sing with thanks and praise,
“Lord, you are great. Lord, you’re so good.”
And when I learn about your fearsome justice,
I humbly bow and ask you to forgive.
You are the judge and yet you prove you love us –
by Jesus’ death we rise with him and live.
So, lift your voice and sing with thanks and praise,
“Lord, you are great. Lord, you’re so good.”
So, lift your voice and sing with thanks and praise,
“Lord, you are great. Lord, you’re so good.”
When Christ returns – the one true judge and saviour –
all will bow down and praise him as the King.
The proud will flee; the humble rise in awe,
and, free at last, will gladly enter in.
